CCPA Opt-Out Guide
This guide explains how California residents can exercise privacy rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).
1. What You Can Request
If you are a California resident, you may request:
· Right to know: what personal information we collect, use, and disclose
· Right to access: a copy of personal information we hold about you (subject to verification)
· Right to delete: deletion of certain personal information (subject to legal exceptions)
· Right to correct: correction of inaccurate personal information
· Right to opt out of sale or sharing: opt out of sale/sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, if applicable
· Right to limit: limit use and disclosure of sensitive personal information, if applicable
2. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Ensite does not knowingly sell personal information. If Ensite uses analytics or advertising tools that may be considered “sharing” under CPRA, you can opt out using the methods below.
3. How to Submit a Request
4. What to Include in Your Request
To help us process your request, please include:
· Your full name and preferred contact method (email or phone)
· The relationship to Ensite (website visitor, client contact, technician, or property occupant)
· The type of request (access, delete, correct, opt out)
· Any relevant identifiers (for example: email used to contact us, work order reference number)
5. Verification Process
We must verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests. We may ask for additional information or documentation. If you use an authorized agent, we may require proof of written permission and verification of your identity.
6. Response Timing
We generally respond within 45 days of receiving a verifiable request. If more time is needed, we may extend as permitted by law.
7. Global Privacy Control (GPC)
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we will treat it as a request to opt out of sale/sharing where required.
8. Non-Discrimination
We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights.
